The mission of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys is to establish  NAELA members as the premier providers of legal advocacy, guidance, and services to enhance the lives of people with special needs and people as they age.

The cost of Medicaid long-term care, and critical health care was never intended to wipe out your family’s hard-earned financial assets. In many cases, however, people who are faced with elder care decisions for themselves, or their aging parents, don’t know how to protect themselves from losing their life savings. There are legal, ethical, and honest ways to protect your family’s estate, and we feel that we have a responsibility to help, as part of our community.

Providing health care for the elderly,
while legally preserving family assets

The Elder Law Firm practices estate planning and Medicaid planning law with one thing in mind. We believe in helping the good, hardworking residents of Jackson, Mississippi, and surrounding communities hold onto their life savings. The Medicaid laws are meant to be fair for everyone. Losing your estate because of health care expenses, or watching your parent’s life savings drain away, isn’t what the legislators who passed the Medicaid laws intended.

It is our responsibility to help the elderly in our communities.

Call us at The Elder Law Firm to discuss your estate planning and asset preservation needs. If you, or your parents, are facing tough choices about Medicaid health care, home health care, or nursing home care, the decisions are tough. We believe that we cannot stand by and watch bad things happen to good people. We have a responsibility to help.
